Antartica

Antartica is one of the most remote places in the world. In this place the scientists do research about how old it is, what the depth of the ocean is, how to preserve it, and what kind of animals live there.

Antartica is an inhabited place; a lot of animals live there. The scientists say that the animals can change. Antartica has a beautiful landscape.

A lot of tourists go to Antartica and the scientists say that they can’t work with tourists because they interrupt their research. But I think both can work together. It isn’t difficult and the scientists want to close Antartica but that isn’t right. I think they just need to give the tourists rules to avoid polluting because Antartica is very important for everybody. If it is destroyed the world will end. Global warming is causing Antartica’s ice berbs to melt. The sea level is rising. These are the consequences if everybody continues polluting the world.

“The Metamorphisis”

I actually don’t believe the story, “The Metamorphisis.” I like it because it is something that doesn’t happen frequently in our lives.

The story begins ina  dream. I think maybe all of it is in a dream because one like I watched a movie like “The Metamorphisis” and the movie was all in a dream.

In the story, a man changes to a cockroach. HIs family didn’t take care of him, which makes me feel bad. After that he died. I think he wasn’t a brave person he didn’t do anything for his life. So I like the story a lot because it was very strange for me and I had a lot of feelings about “The Metamorphisis.”

Getting Hooked On Sports

Some people who play sports can get hooked on any kind of sport. In some cases, the athletes can have serious problems from their intense activities, like with their healthy, bodies, weight, and food. Some reasons are family pressure or pressure they put on themselves. They want to be the best or their dream is to become an athlete. This requires a lot of practicing. The pressure can cause terrible damage like eating disorders, and in some cases death by not taking care of yourself.

Today’s teaching tip: Fluency is about doing what you already know better. This means practicing dialogues and language structures that you already know until they become more natural and less forced. Repetion and practice are the key to learning a new language (and to learning how to drive a stick shift–it’s the same principle.)
